(Video Below) EMI is Electro Magnetic Interference and this is an interruption of the electrical energy/frequency field, that the positive and negative wires of a speaker creates, as power is sent to it. When the signal is interrupted a static noise can be introduced into the amplifier and then be amplified. (This is not to be confused with balanced wire)
100% copper
Not all wire used for audio is made of the best materials. Shock-Wire© is the first company in the 12v audio industry to make and bring attention to twisting speaker wires. They also make their products in the USA and out of 100% copper, NOT aluminum tinned copper like some of the speed wire and spool wire other brands sell.
PVC over sized jacket
PVC will not attract static from the carpet like silicon does. The extra thick jacket gives you more room for error or damage that may happen during installation or the life of the harness.

Wire machines are used to professionally twist the Shock-wire© speaker wire. Thus preventing any damage or over expansion of the copper wire that can happen when using power drills to create a twisted pair out of cheap silicon wire. Speed wire is also not recommended as it is not twisted but bundled together.
